[300 new Japanese words] in 30 days: Day 4. June 27, 2012.

Here are my ten words for today:

1.観察 [kansatsu] observation
2.財産 [zaisan] property, fortune
3.版画[hanga]  print, engraving
4. 複製[fukusei] duplicate, replica
5.略歴[ryakureki] brief career outline
6. 順調[junchou] smooth, favorable
7. 複雑[fukuzatsu] complex, complicated
8.消極的[shoukyokuteki] passive, negative
9.苦しむ[kurushimu]to suffer


...and one more related to one of my newest hobbies: candle-making.




10. ろう [rou] wax

  1. Hey are you using an SRS (Spaced Repetition System) when learning new words? It's pretty awesome for long term retention.

    Also, I do a little trick. For example I notice you had "Fukuzatsu"
    so :

    the FU fighters are so KU (cool) they hired a fat, smelly ninja called ZATSU to take care of their COMPLEX band schedule.

    30 seconds to never forgetting any Japanese word!

  2. That's an interesting method. I've never used it, though. I've found that just typing or writing things down helpful to my memory of Japanese vocabulary as it was when I was studying Spanish. If you have any other tips, please share on this blog page.
