[300 new Japanese words] in 30 days: Day 7. June 30, 2012.

Today, a friend of mine shared this blog post.

..which inspired my choice of words for today:

1. 上流階級 [jouryuu-kaikyuu] - upper class
2. 中流階級 [chuuryuu- kaikyuu] - middle class
3. 下層階級 [kasou-kaikyuu] - lower class, underclass
4. 特権階級 [tokken-kaikyuu] - the privileged classes
5. 無産階級 [musan-kaikyuu] - the proletariat
6.民族意識  [minzoku-ishiki] - ethnic identity
7. 少数民族 [shousuu-minzoku] - ethnic minority
8.開かれた社会 [hirakareta shakai] - open society
9. 人種的差別 [jinshuteki-sabetsu] - racial discrimination
10. 社会的連帯 [shakai-teki-rentai] - social solidarity



The term, "reverse racism" did not come up in my studies today. Good luck finding a Japanese equivalent of it that's not in katakana.
